Yes I googled it before I asked the question, and in both cases the definition was clearly in relation to drugs reaching and acting within the circulatory system, hence why I’m wondering if they are the relevant metrics.
Yes I agree that it’s not quite so simple as bugs sitting on the skin, which the article you posted clearly shows. Though I would have thought that the fact it works on pig skin is highly encouraging.
