Every step of this journey has taken longer than shareholders or indeed management expected. Perhaps the problem isn't the timeframe but the expectation itself. Whilst we criticise management for getting timeframes wrong perhaps they are just difficult to judge easily.

The elephant that is Manono is simply harder. Bigger asset, more analysis, more logistics, bigger investment decisions that are harder to make and therefore simply slower timelines than we expected. But it is lumbering on.

I have no doubt that forcing offtakes too quickly against the natural course of things would be to all our detriment.

We don't want commitments that will bite us down the track like some others have experienced and I expect many offtake suitors are angling for a bargain rather than a fair price.
