ARV originally made a packet from 6c to 48c. Then when it was coming off started buying again from 16c managed to average down to 4c recently sold it all for a massive loss at 1.7c .. not going to get into them but I dont believe they really never had any intentions of mining anything. Whilst measuring nuggety gold can be hard its not impossible, also mining again isn't that hard you just have to systematically do the work properly. One of the bigger gurus that I know in gold is @Black Cat
The gold up in the Pilbara will be completed different to GED gold. That Pilbara nuggety gold is quite unlike most other geologies, it sits within the conglomorate layer and has carbon halos around it, much like the wittswaterand gold. People believe its the source of the Witts gold I do not.
That didn't go bad either people just stole a shit load of gold from it. Novo now has that nuggety ground and will likely find 50m of gold. They were consistently digging tennis ball sized nuggets out of Purdys and 47k, kilos and kilos of the stuff just below surface. The easy stuff was taken the harder stuff well Novo will get it because it will be there.
That gold was likely an offshore marine deposit which is a very complex system and has many geologists and science departments baffled.
GED on the other hand is a simple system, looks like its just alluvial run off gold system that has been weathered from the local reefs
