Heaps of big deposits are found after being recycled for many decades. Every geologist has a difference of opinion, exploration rationale and program. They can literally make or break you quite quickly. We will keep finding massive deposits for the next 50 years which 20 30 different companies have held at some point its all part of the game. Everytime a new company or Explorer comes on and does work it adds to the long history, eventually the long history begins to paint a compelling story. This game isn't cheap and most explorers are not rich so you often run out of money whilst achieving very little. Its extremely important to start doing geophysics like Magnetics, gravity and IP surveys and not relying on government data. LiDar will begin to start showing its hand too.

Point is not sure why no one has found anything have not been through the reports. A lot of these bigger systems are only becoming attractive in the modern times to as gold price is higher and technology now supports this exploration and mining. Back in the day it was extract minerals out of the hydrothermal systems and bobs your uncle.
