i'm with you sachz but i'd be reluctant to predict any uplift in earnings in this environment. they need sufficient cash not just for mmc but as a buffer to get things to a point where they're no longer bleeding cash but holding on to it. axing the r&d was a necessary first step. i hope a phoenix rises tomorrow...
