Well, BB, How many of those ounces do you think can be converted to Reserves? The majority of those ounces will never be recovered in our lifetimes, and how do you come up with this statement? "So at least we know there is another 120,000 ounces at Mt Freda, looks like just going to have to drill the holes again". That is complete nonsense. The vast majority of that 2009 QMN resource will be contained within the resource announced today, but some of the assay data from historic holes could not be incorporated into the resource estimation as the data did not satisfy the JORC 2012 criteria. It doesn't mean there's a phantom 120koz resource lurking down there to add to the resource released today.
As for the Golden Mile resources, what proportion will convert to reserves? I couldn't see the maximum depth the resources extend to, but only a tiny proportion could ever be economically recovered, if any at all. Grade, geometry and dimensions suggest that very little will ever be mined unless they magically increase the resource, but looking at the drill hole data that looks highly unlikely.
Mining by the end of the year, so I guess we can expect to see a reserve for MF in a couple of months.
