I spoke to Company on Thursday and established that the current licence agreement will remain alive until the extension request is decided.
That means there is no pressure for a quick determination of the request and therefore negotiations with potential farm-in companies remain in abeyance.
If the JV has met all preconditions, which I believe it has, i cannot see a reason for a protracted process by the Senegalese government. Hopefully we will hear something soon so the next negotiations with the interested farm-in parties can proceed.
In the meantime we sit and wait for the drill results at Pitchford 1 and 2.
I must admit to being a little surprised and disappointed the volumes traded were not greater on Friday.
