I wasn't suggesting mitch's model was simple, I used that word to describe my scans.
The question if I can rephrase it, is does the model look primarily for oversold stocks, by whatever method.
I understand the concept of chart patterns, but at first glance, on a daily chart, I don't recognise too many in that list with the exception of MGR (triangle) and AGO (potential double bottom). They mostly look like oversold stocks to me.
I will have another look for patterns on a weekly time frame.
