One answer is that the real news, beyond the glare of the assays, was on P.2.
Secondly: "Drill holes GGY-02 and JDH-13 are located approximately 4 kilometres south-east of ZK0-2 directly in line with the structure believed to control the mineralisation encountered in ZK0-2. "
Structural controls are a BIG DEAL!
As you can see from this map the structural control doesn't correlate to gold at surface. I'm not a geo but I bet KK and his geos can't wait to follow the trail!
We'll just have to wait for the company to provide more guidance as they see results from the historic drilling and then as things normalise in Ecuador after the COVID19 lockdown geos can systematically work their magic. At least it's magic to me!
The whole IRGS pivot is a work in progress too. There are still big, deeper porphyry targets but now there is a much more affordable exploration campaign i.e. only drilling to say, 200m, that CEL could afford on its own.
Remember, I'm not a geologist. This needs expert eyes and there is just not enough info available yet.
As usual, patience is required and that's difficult in this market when there's something new to chase every morning!
