The idea of 'just buy the index' is the issue here. There will be a lot of funds hit in the next wave, a lot of passive investors crushed.

And I say: good job! There are so many people who entrust their hard earned to so-called experts to play around with. Financial literacy is abysmal: people prefer to concentrate on sport or going fishing or what is on Netflix or on picking their noses, and deserve everything that is coming.

Like what places? Individual stocks? I'm talking about mainstream places - I ruled out bonds and saving accounts - that leaves property and stocks - is ther another one you want to add?
