Not much good news, all agree on that tb111. Only good news is that they (G20) are talking (except for Rudd and Bush)and not fighting. CPi figs not that bad, trend is down, makes everything cheaper which adds to the confidence. As for GM, a basket case, the stock is already down 90% since Feb so if it falls, impact on the DOW will be minimal but obviously it will carry more negative sentiment.
Financials have stabelised. So in summary, not good but probably a little better than early October when all the banks started to collapse.
