robbb: I have to agree....today I read that the junior Iron Ore players were seeking help from the Rudd government to survive the crisis (can't recall where sorry)....
The times have changed and, whilst it's harsh, the unsustainable will have to fall and should not be falsely propped up...
After all it is the taxpayer who is funding all these bailouts and there will come a time where the sheer size of bailouts will exceed the taxpayer's ability to support them
Not everyone can be on welfare....
We need to shake out the weak companies, that have been hanging onto the cliff edge by their nails with promises of future production, before the strong ones can progress....Some wonderful companies have been dragged down by weaker ones and they need to go...the sooner the better...
It's a classic case of "Tarred by the Same Brush" IMO if you don't know what that term means here is a reference:
