Yeah I looked at free standing dishwashers but only place I could put it was too far from water, eventually found a compact one I could fit under the bench in the kitchen but it was so small, hence I looked at having a full size one in the laundry. When big e advised against that I had another look and found a compact model bigger than previous and after measuring up worked out I could get it in but it would protrude a bit
Cupboard door to the left of the dishwasher can only open half way but I can live with that. It's compact but can fit a few full size plates and even a big pot.
Unfortunately it cost more than regular and bigger dishwashers, a second dishwasher in the laundry will not cost so much
