Influenza

• Nil Vaccinations (in both countries);
• Economic & Financial Impact (Devastating & Decimating in both Countries).

(Personal opinion: I believe there would have been even fewer cases and deaths in NZ if the Govt had closed the borders 3 weeks earlier than they did. The financial devastation which Covid 19 has been allowed to cause absolutely staggers me).

My point? Well, I am confident the numbers speak for themselves - but if I wanted to focus my "diagnostic" company on diagnosing the early onset of a nasty virus (in the best interests of human health), I would focus my resources on Influenza.

Influenza pandemics have been around for 500 years (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2862331/) so it seems there has been ample opportunity for CDY to wield their magic in this direction....but instead, they have suddenly perceived an opportunity based on Covid 19, which has existed for a mere few months. It is no wonder that a few shareholders view this "opportunity" as looking more like a quickly cooked up "gamble".
