One thing I did notice after Novonix's ASX announcement about their Dry Particle Microgranulation breakthrough patent and Tesla's Pr Jeff Dahn's excitement about the breakthrough....the follow day, Elon Musk delayed the Tesla Battery Day to June (online) and a second Tesla Battery Day for later in the year.

Tesla always stays ahead of their competition, surely this delay for Battery Day, is to complete their internal calculations on how cheap their EV batteries will be with not only Novonix's PUREgraphite anode material, but also applying Novonix's Dry Particle Microgranulation technology to the Nickel/Manganese/Cobolt/Phosphate/Copper/Aluminium processing......

I'd expect Tesla to be Novonix's first Royalty Customers for the Dry Particle Microgranulation Patent, together with the suppliers of their battery cathode materials NMC/NCA/LFP.

A lot of companies in this Cathode Supply Chain that will be scrambling to get hold of Novonix's patent to:

1. Defend their market position (first mover advantage)
2 . Increase Market Share,
3. Increase Profits
4. Reduce costs for Tesla/Sanyo-Panasonic/LG Chem/Samsung SDI, CATL, BYD, SK Innovation, KORE Power, NorthVolt, Apple, Dyson, Bosch etc etc.

In addition to the lithium ion materials market, there is the extremely valuable Pharmaceutical Industry that will also need access to Novonix's Dry Particle Microgranulation technology, for the same reasons as above.

The Pharmaceutical Industry is a $US1.12Trillion in annual sales, so there is enormous potential for Novonix.
