Hi Ace26, nice work holding lots of DEG, and yes I also like reading @Wack balanced posts as well.
Re the origins of Hemi ,yes I’ve got my own idea about things but its a bit complex to explain and I might just as easily be wrong about it! Though I will say that to talk about this deposit ,knowledge of the origins of the Mallina Basin is essential.
I’m happy to put my view in on any info that DEG reports on as they’re on the ground and the drillers and with interpretation by the geo team.
Easier to rely on DEG great results at Hemi and of course the other intrusions located locally. Bit scary to consider how much potential is here Ace. Even the Scooby intrusion is twice the size of Hemi!

I noticed some posts about metallurgy, and whether the ore is refractory. From my understanding increase in silica tends the ore to be less refractory . The intrusion here is recorded as more felsic than mafic ( more silica), with the alteration with quartz and sericite ( both higher in silica).
The sulphides are also described as Arsenopyrite and pyrite.
The Arsenopyrite sulphide is the problem as the arsenic doesn't allow a float circuit to work (it causes the pyrite holding the gold to sink).
    The pyrite isn’t.
    Cheers.
