Ever heard of SARs and MERs and Ebola? There are many more and guess what these existed “pre-covid”, pandemics are a given and are inevitable IMO, we live and adapt. The world didn’t collapse during any of these did they?
I think the rise of social media during and prior to this particular pandemic may have an impact on the “post-covid” world more as more will now be aware of this than other pandemics through their exposure online and sure this may impact how many might fly during these times and for a little while after, but airlines are telling us how much demand is pent up and waiting.
Risks exist in anything we do in life and any share we buy yet we still do many of these things anyway. No one is saying there isn’t any risk here, just that the risk outweighs the long term benefit.
