"Sometimes you have to focus on one thing for a while, rather than be distracted by, "What about this problem" or "Why aren't you angry about this other thing?"
Except you aren't focusing on one thing; you are selectively focusing on a specific element of that thing.
Because if the "thing" is defined as police brutality, then why did/do Collins Khosa and Sibusio Amos and the 8 others who had reportedly also died at the hands of police during brutality during the early stages of the lockdown, receive no attention in the Western-centric media?
Viewed another way, Mr Amos was killed on 29 March and Mr Khosa on 10 April.
Those deaths occurred, respectively, 5 and 4 weeks prior to Mr Floyd's death
Is it not a perfectly logical question to ask why Black Lives Matter didn't protest against those deaths, and many others like them?
Most reasonably-minded people can be forgiven for thinking that its inordinately more a case of "Some Black Lives Matter."
