The lodgement system is a live system. No prior review by the ASX. It relies on the company officers to have the necessary knowledge to meet required reporting standards. This is why you occasionally see amendments and retractions - the ASX of course reviews all notices and if they see something amiss they will request a retraction or amendment, or even pull the entire announcement if it requires it.
