Chalco - this part of your post is pretty much the same conclusion that I had reached:

"...but as the company didn't make the effort to verify/demonstrate the dip by drilling any step-back holes (at least none that were released as far as I can see), I'll assume that they drilled directly down the dip of the mineralisation, until proven otherwise."

I was also aware of the possibility that they were drilling "directors specials" at Little Duke but gave them some leeway earlier because I thought that maybe we didn't have all the information, and/or they were planning more work to improve their understanding of the geology. As you say - any and every normal exploration company would have drilled some follow up holes to confirm the orientation of the ore zone and then drill tested along strike to re-confirm that confirmation drilling. Its not like they didn't have any drill rigs available in 2019 to do that! If they did in fact do this drilling work and proved that Little Duke is very small and steeply plunging then they should just say that and not treat their shareholders like idiots.

The inordinate and suspicious delay in the Mt Freda and Golden Mile resource estimates, and the track record of poor shareholder communication during the drill program telling shareholders what they were doing and when, has confirmed my initial urge to exit most of my small AMG shareholding for a small gain while the drilling was still in progress was probably the right call. To get an investor like me to sell during an active exploration drilling program takes a special sort of incompetence and wilful neglect in shareholder communication.  And their performance in entertaining and dithering in the ridiculous sale process of Gilded Rose only raises further questions about the commercial nous of those guys. I have continued to hold a small holding in AMG because despite how incompetent management are, they do have some decent exploration tenements, and new management can always turn anything around, and even bad management can be "lucky" and stumble across a decent discovery if the ground is prospective enough.
