The reality in my view Australia obsession in chasing the Chinese $ has led us down the poorer path for Aus. with much lower standards we once had, we were a much richer and creative country with industry, better schooling, affordable housing, uncongested cities and govt debt more manageable, somehow we went through the greatest mining boom and ended up broke and our fix was imports and ponzi real estate investors pushing market higher, all during cities being clogged, schooling standards dropping, unaffordable housing, industry closures and becoming a service industry country to each other all while being directed by ccp in how to act it seems, recall Julia Gillard couldnt meet the Dali Lama as China wasnt pleased. Yep we have come a long way in 20 years, time to turn clock back as CCP need the world just as much otherwise they will implode with unemployed. Sometimes i feel China is playing the opium wars in reverse to the world of which granted was a sad part of history for them.
