new year should bring better news ... oppies will still be a chance come july in my opinion .... umc will have found some form by then ... markets totally irrational for now ....

management have made a good call really. they can start digging it up and shipping when price improves. question will be how high does it have to get fr them to decide to do it.

i see a scenario where umc starts to move up again through corporate action and thx gets the benefit from that, then we finally get the nickel factored in independently through a good announcement that we are mining again ....

wonder what management think about the options situation, they certainly would like that cash in i would have thought. wonder if they'll consider a deferall arranmement. ie: pay .05 to roll over oppies for another year. has been done before and everyone benefits

needless to say im holding lots of useless paper at the moment ... wouldnt have picked the scenerios we;ve seen play out of late. no point worrying, but the way forward is not clearcut. i do know the thx ords wont be a lot lower by end of next year, but could well be a lot higher
