TGA timelines are not possible. They advise that even though they have their own labs, if the work load demands OR if the item being tested warrants it, it could be sent to an external independent lab for testing. BUT I cannot for the life of me work out why TGA cannot accept the UK tests as verbatim or reliable and in accordance with western regs etc., There are many areas of health, skills and tests and qualifications that are co-recognised with UK and they are just given a formality tick...struth.
