Revised forecasts for basic materials also appear to have come with more dire prospects for uranium. Spot uranium may have bounced quickly from its fall to US$44/lb last month, as far as commodity analysts at Macquarie and GSJB Were are concerned, the sector will have little to smile about in the year ahead. Their new price forecasts anticipate little or no net growth for spot uranium prices throughout calendar 2009. GSJB Were has placed both Energy Resources of Australia ((ERA)) and Paladin Energy ((PDN)) on a Sell rating.
