the other interesting thing to come out of the JDBs presentation was that there is now a heighten awareness globally to secure networks. previously sen had to explain to organisations as to the merits of their technology, now the wheel is turning as organisations are re-evaluating their risks. eg JDB mentioned that for approx 12 months the world bank had been subject to a cyber-attack and have not been able to evaluate the extent of the damage. also there are 2 large australian institutions that have incurred $400 million losses as a result of cyber-terrorism.

its only a matter of time that security of data will become a focus for all companies,

and lastly, JDB is very optimistic of the opportunties that will be presented to sen as a result of the new privacy reforms that are going to be implemented in austalia.
