if you Click Here & go to page 20..you will see the 1.5 b per 1t coal for LNC...& notice below it the possible 1.8 b per 1t coal for CNX this ann/link was released 30 0ct 2008.

How are you going with your calcs?

From info in the above link:
CNX claim they have ~120mt containing 2400 PJ if that helps...that's 20 PJ pt. But halve that for recoverable so say 10 PJ pt. (Note this is their energy value & is using their UCG (syngas) techniques) ie: more energy than recoverable through CSG extraction alone.) Who knows if our coals are even comparable with these coals though at this stage but it's interesting to see what we may end up with:)

Re the CTP % factor. I'd use 50% as a rough figure to allow for more partners of various kinds. Sure is a lot of work to be done & money to be spent yet:)

A suggestion if I may...use a good disclaimer if you post a resource calc:)

Any thoughts on how long the hold up could be regarding the wet season anybody? From living in Nth Qld some years ago I think it ended in about March from memory there.
