The banks wouldn't take an 80% ownership if they didn't believe it would be successful. A couple of questions then arise. How does it affect current shareholders in terms of dilution of shareholdings. What would the banks goal be? With effective control would their goal be to sell off the assets over time to claw back their funding or would they genuinely be looking at building the business long term for shareholder benefit. I'd suspect the former but if it was the latter, this would be possibly be the best solution for current shareholders.
