I agree - it's damn scary. I have friends in the car dealership industry and I've been worried about them lately. It's amazing how it seems like a tsunami sweeping out from the finance industry and swallowing up everything in it's path. E.G If Centro is allowed to fail suddenly commercial properties will be devalued throughout Australia putting pressure on Banks to secure up their loans on both businesses and developers alike as the values fall. Anyone caught with 90 day bank bills etc instead of medium to long term mortgages will be under severe pressure.
