I have been a long time share holder, and bought my first shares a long time before the consolidation. I think the Longtable Group has amazing products. They are the best of the best.

The problem with Maggie Beer is that every time I show their product to people, their first question is: does it have Beer in it? I can assure you; No, the products do not contain any alcohol.

The second question people ask is, if the product has MSG in it. Maggi and Maggie sound similar. Maggi is a famous international brand based on Yeast/MSG and most immigrants from Europe and Asia know the Maggi brand very well.

Third, these same people start to look at the ingredients looking for Beer/alcohol, Yeast/MSG.
And then off course they always find something else in the ingredients they don't like.

Muslims don't like beer.
Asians won't buy MSG.

Fifth when they look at the price, and the price is very high. People just walk away.

The older generation, mostly white Australians know Maggie Beer as a television chef. For them the name Maggie Beer sounds familiar.
Young people often do not know her.
New Australians often do not know her.

That's why I think Maggie Beer is not a good brand name. Maggie's, or Maggie's Kitchen sounds more modern.

If the company should change it's name from Longtable Group to The Maggie Beer Company? Do we sell more products then? I think it's a waste of time and money.

Another example is Paris Creek.
Paris Creek is Biodynamic. Problem is no-one will pay $6,- for the best milk ever, if they don't know what Biodynamic is.

One day, quite a while ago I had a look at the milk section in my local supermarket. And there it was: A2, written on a pack of milk in a huge size font. In a smaller font, very small it says: Milk

Of course it's in a milk pack so I already know that it is milk. What else can it be?
First thing I did was Google what A2 is.
And I found out that A2milk is super milk, better milk, more healthy milk.

So, if I look at a Paris Creek bottle of milk. It should say: BIODYNAMIC Milk
And then everyone will grab their phones and learn about biodynamic, and buy the milk. Because biodynamic milk is the best milk ever.

I think branding is everything and Longtable sucks at it, and changing the name of the Group will not do anything about that.

We need to sell more BIODYNAMIC Milk
We need to sell more MAGGIE's ORGANIC ice-cream

We need to make more profit. And a higher share price will follow!
