After reading through the ASX delisting policies it appears that if a company wants to delist it is not automatic, it is still the decision of the ASX to allow a delisting. I can’t see how the ASX will allow the delisting of ISX while the bonus shares are unresolved. The other party that can force a positive conclusion for ISX is the Federal Court. I am personally disgusted with the ASX and how they have treated ISX and us shareholders, suspending ISX for nearly 9 months has given the ASX and ASIC a massive amount of time to present facts as to why ASX continue to hold ISX in suspension. To me, there is definitely more to this suspension than is in the public domain. I believe the ASX and possibly other regulatory bodies and influential competitors are out to destroy ISX given the ability of ISX to cause massive disruption to the payments, banking and financial industry. Adding in the proposed NSX/ISX Clearpay trading platform and its ability to create same day settlements, or faster, would be a frightening change to the shorters and “dark pool” operators. If you own ISX shares and believe in the great positive changes that ISX can bring to the financial industry then don’t go quiet, make contact with as many regulatory and political bodies as you can to “shine the light” on this probable “conflict of interest” between the ASX and ISX, I am.
