Sounds like GMD are purchasing. Could be that the tenements are from a larger ASX player and therefore immaterial to them (no trading halt). Could also be a private company.
Tenement acquisition doesn't sound all that exciting. To me if they're referring to it as a tenement it probably doesn't have much of an established resource (otherwise they might call it a project/resource).
Cash balance is also going to be pretty low if it is anything 'major' so probably means a capital raising.
