hey @ausbenny - as far as I am concerned RIO is responsible for explaining itself so I won't endeavour to contribute. But when I hear people saying "start paying their fair share of taxes" about major Australian companies I feel the need to add some information to the discussion. If we are talking about fair share of taxes, it is the foreign (mostly but not entirely USA based) companies operating in Australia and paying little if any tax that we need to have in our focus.
