GFC hit the stockmarket in 2009 I was still working for one of the IO big boys back then and I can assure you it was all go at the time.
When I sold out of Oz property it was right at the top sheer luck not science but everyone gets a win sometimes. My predictions then for WA where I was living were as true then as they are now.
The reason I left Australia to work overseas was the brutal tax regime on PAYG taxpayers that still exists to this day. Nothing to do with skulking off.
