Your first sentence is the reason why you shouldn't be buying them. If you must, make sure they have plenty of cash reserves, not gold reserves. 2-3 year operating cash minimum. There will be many gold companies folding next year in my opinion.
Have a look at the charts on any gold junior. Most are trending down with no bottom in sight. I'd wait to see if there is a reversal first. Monday will be up but what about tuesday?
