Elon tweeted this silicon graphite batteries then apparently deleted the tweet, I think Haplo mentioned it.

It also has to do with the performance of the Single Crystal Cathode and Electrolytes allowing a higher Voltage of each battery to be cycled without degradation.

But mostly the silicon infused graphite and spherical shape of the graphite material. Pr Dahn called it "Onion like morphology" in Novonix's DPMG patent ASX announcement....Dr Chris Burns called it "Graphene" in a previous interview with Hyperchange on Youtube.

Novonix applied for the Si-C (Silicon Infused Graphite nee Carbon) Patent in 2018, so we should see an announcement about this breakthrough in the coming weeks/months.

Whether this adds 20%-30%-50% range to the same number of batteries in an EV, we just need to wait for the ASX announcement.

For Musk to delete that tweet, it should be quite impressive.
