I am not sure. I think there is toxicity studies first in large animals, then they trial it (ph1)on affected people to see if it actually works, as its not proven in people yet. then they do it again with much larger numbers to look for any downsides (ph 2/3 Done at the same time) So after or during ph 1 it will get crazy.
