Melua,
With all due respect, this is where you thinking is flawed.
The market is a living breathing thing....and moves and changes every minute of every day that it is open or awake.
The owners of the stock that make up all of the share register did not all buy in at the same time nor at the same time. They all bought at different levels, and all have very different risk tolerance.
Your statements would be correct if all the current owners of stock had bought in at $1, then yes, selling now for 2% of your capital does not make sense.
However, today the owners that bought last week at 6 cents must make a decision on whether to salvage 50% of their capital and take a loss, or to risk seeing their loss go to 75%...and so every investor is making a decision each day, based on their own personal set of circumstances.
We both know, that the share register today looks completely differently from what it looked like even 4 weeks ago.
I hope it turns out well for you and your crew...but I think we will see much lower before we see much higher....and from what I read of your strategy...that is ok...as you are not selling until we see much higher.
Good luck.
