Hi P/A: While I don't disagree with what you wrote, I for one, will be looking to sell into such a scenario. What you describe is the 'end run' phase of a gold boom - the final, mad, erratic spike before the inevitable calamitous collapse. This is the manic phase where every drover (and his dog) has a hot tip about the next goldie to run - it the phase in which the professionals sell into leaving the 'bunnies' who buy from them to crash and burn.
Sure, when it happens make those quick profits ... leave some for the next bloke ... BUT don't end up as a 'crash and burn bunny'.
That 'end of gold run' phase is a very long way off .... imo.
