do you know whether 200 metres is above or below the Water Table?
I read some months ago a post by peter pumpkinhead that explained that the Great Artesian Water Basin was mostly fed by Nth Qld rainfall.It was not so much reliant on Surat Surface Run Off/Top up.
This ,if it's FACT goes some way to allying Water Problems by UCG but I wonder if the reactor is Above the water table whether it might not have negative effects if the Table rises to meet it?
That Agforce mob sticks it's bib in on the negative to the UG mob.Such opposition would sway the National Party to be wary of CNX/CXY/LNC process,too.

but I completely agree on the recent rains and possible effects on conventional Coal,Open Cut Miners.That very thought sold me out at a small profit in NHC when I saw a Million+ Turnover day on the day after the Ipswich area Floods.
That Drag Line up to it's gunnels picture in Emerald last year was a real Illustration of Company Specific "Problems".I want to check out New Hope locations and Mine LayOut more throughly so a Weather Eye can be maintained.
I wonder if CNX's reactor can get TOO waterLogged by surface trickledown?
