Associated costs for retrenchments, placing the plant on C&M and then to recommission it again are enough to continue operating a loss or cashflow negative.
It would be a lot harder and certainly more expensive to get the workforce back together.
Probably best to cut production back for the moment. The stripping capex will drastically reduce post 09.
