Hard question, I've never really done the math. I'd say yes it probably has, but more work and not everyone can do it. The argument for laziness is certainly a strong one.
My gut feeling is the algos are planning to run this into the ground prior to the results which everyone knows will be good, but the act of running it into the ground (plus some BS media articles soon to be released by the AFR et all) will help relieve people of their shares.
Then there will be a big F off sell the news report day.
So basically, sell the peaks IMO and soak with the bots.
