our work is the same. Business Class for domestic flights has now been cut back. We now fly domestic and the most competitive. We still need to fly...however, the cheaper flights.

I think qantas will be far more effected than a virgin blue.
I also think what many people are forgetting is that seats will not be off 50% (possibly 10%), yet fuel costs, which was crippling airlines over the past 6-9 months, have reduced substantially.

Also, Melb-Sydney route continues to be the 3rd most lucrative in the world.
