LOL Wink, you may in fact be on to something. Someone told me the other day that it is written in the old testament book of Job that the world is round.....yet science in 1490 told us it was flat. Who knows what secrets of the world the ancients knew.

Been thinking about Armstrongs numbers some more (are you surprised ??) I have been thinking about the number 224 as in the length of time a civilization or political system rises. i thought "why 224 ?? that's pretty random, there must be something mathematical behind it....think 9 lives think"

So i thought fibonacci as those numbers turn up time and time again in nature. 223.6 I believe is the actual number Armstrong is looking at. 223.6 is a fib extension of .236 x 100. Also if you take the fib extension of 1.382 and multiply it by fib 1.682 x 100 you get 223.6. But if you take 1.328 and DIVIDE 0.682 into it and x100 you still get 223.6. Armstrong notes in "It's just time" that there is approximately 26 x 8.6 year Armstrong cycles in 224 years.....but I am here to tell you there are EXACTLY 26 x 8.6 Armstrong cycles in 223.6 years.

And now for my piece de resistance. For anyone who has followed my Rain Man type ramblings on this subject (wannaflyqantuswannaflyqantus) you may recall that the other day I stated that the radius of an Armstrong cycle is approximately 500 days and that I believed what Armstrong thinks is 72 is actually 52 radii (or 26 diamters).......well it turns out 22.36 squared is a near perfect 500.

So it would seem the rise and fall of man's political (or organizational) systems has its roots in Armstrong, Pi, Fibonacci and pythagoras....all fascinating stuff if you are slightly Asperger's
