The Labor Party may well have stolen Turnbull's thunder on a previous occasion.....and I think the public pretty much realises that. It still hasn't made the public warm to Turnbull.
If, however, Turnbull continues to come up with ideas which are subsequently adopted by the Labor Party, then the public will soon begin to give Turnbull the due credit. No doubt about that.
You have to realise that the Liberal Party, and Turnbull, are still suffering from the Howard hangover......you remember....the PM that lost his seat. People are still scarred by those ugly years and are simply enjoying a fair government that isn't out to cause divisiveness in the community. Turnbull is simply going to have to wait for the scars to fade. Most Liberals seem completely oblivious to the resentment that the public accumulated towards Howard and the Liberal Party.
As for being a smarta...Welllll, come on there billy. You surely aren't suggesting that simco isn't getting back a bit of what he gives.......
For the record, I am pretty impressed with Turnbull. Still have a few doubts about him, and I wonder exactly what it is that makes him want to be a Liberal rather than a Labor Party supporter.
