While there has been some good points raised here there has also been some rather flawed, personal and fatalistic comments too. I've no interest in engaging with the latter and recommend this approach.

In seeking some more robust commentary on the markets I found a great article from Howard Marks released on Friday (18 June)
    https://www.oaktreecapital.com/docs/default-source/memos/the-anatomy-of-a-rally.pdf

Pages 2,3 and 4 painfully outline things of which I either was unaware of, did not research or was simply wrong on. I make no attempts to claim I am anything other than retail investor. While I have had successful with investments at my start, mostly these can be attributed to luck. Therefore I take stock in the humble pie that has been served up over the last 6 weeks when I have increased my BBUS holding by roughly 5x.

That said, when I have made those buy decisions it has been after considering many of the points raise on page 5. The single greatest determinant for the future of the markets is the progression of COVID 19. That is why I am constantly tracking and sharing the updates in the USA.

The addage is "You can't fight the FED" and I don't intend to - i'll leave the American People and COVID to do that for me.

    GLTAH.
