Crazy, there was a time when your posts at least had some substance. The share price is struggling. No question. Sequoia and Eastfield exiting has had a substantial affect on suppressing the share price. But how can you claim "the company is still struggling"?
What makes your list of items they still struggle with in the last 12 months since Lifx was acquired?
My top 10 list of improvements are:
(1) Significant improvements in margin, leading to major improvements on monthly Ebitda. Profitability is the goal by the final quarter.
(2) Material improvements in contractual agreements with the major US distributor at Best buy.
(3) Global expansion online and retail outlets including Middle East, Japan, Singapore, Uk, Europe, Mexico etc.
(4) New product launches including switch, $10 light, white to warm downlight and TV strip. ( with more to come)
(5) Removal of unprofitable deals and products. ( and personnel )
(6) Streamlining of costings and negotiating 20-30% improvement in manufacturing costs. Removal of trump tariff payments.
(7) Improvements to app and choice and Forbes magazine awards.
(8) Bundling with google and amazon assistants. Bundling with security cameras and TV sales.
(9) New sources of revenue from Lifx chip technology such as DIY blinds, retirement Village monitoring, gaming and Microsoft connectivity.
(10) Attracting people like Don Hicks from Amazon, who believe he can do the same with Lifx lights as he did with ring. Ie $5m p.a in sales to $1Billion in 5 years.
Work still has to be done on improving supply to meet the demand and the debt with Eastfield before the coy re rates materially. The coy knows that and its part of their 2020 plan.
