well, I think it should happen.
there's no reason why credit card providers shouldn't launch bnpl themselves.
we're already seeing lenders decreasing fee income on the retail side...so appetite to reconsider their product position and features appears to be driving real change.
If you're coles, and you're seeing your customers cross the road to shop at woolies, wouldn't you atleast ask them why? then ask yourself do we need to change?
