What a fantastic problem to have for Elders Rural bank they have 200 account holders with more than $1M out of deposits of $3.7B against a Loan Book of $3.6B. I think that they must be the only bank in Australia that funds 100% of their loan book out of deposits - which are now (for the most part) guaranteed. Financial Crisis Schmisis! I have a new found respect for our country cousins.
