TREVOR Kennedy is reportedly in a fragile state in Cape Town after undertaking an arduous safari through the wilderness of Botswana, but Bizcon understands he is recovering after assurances about his 2 per cent stake in Polartechnics.
At the biotech's annual meeting yesterday, substantial shareholder Laurence Freedman was seen smiling as he heard that the company projected sales will grow from $6.8 million in 2009 to $67 million in 2010 and $151 million in 2011 on the basis of contracts entered into with subsidiaries of Unisplendour Group.
Just the balm Trev was looking for after his brushes with savage beasts. Not one to back off from a fight - Trev's mixed it with the tax man after all - he said while Botswana had plenty of wildlife, nothing was as dangerous as the two guys who persuaded him to go - "Hungry" Jack Cowin and John Singleton.
