I believe you have to wait a couple of weeks to see if the death rates will uptrend like the cases due to deaths being about 2-3 weeks behind cases.
This is due to it taking about that long for the virus to cause death after contraction. If you look at the start of the USA cases/deaths the death spiked a bit later.
